The University of the Incarnate Word has partnered with VIA都市交通 to offer the U-Pass benefit to all eligible students, 教职员工.
登机时， present the VIA U-pass on your phone to the bus operator when boarding. The U-Pass is perfect for the student on the move 和 on a budget. With convenient bus service to campus, the U-Pass is also a great choice for employees.
The U-Pass gives you access to unlimited bus rides on VIA throughout the semester. With free high-speed Wi-Fi available on all buses 和 transit centers, you can spend more time reading, 研究, checking e-mails 和 staying connected.
VIA travels throughout the greater San Antonio area 和 provides a wide range of bus stops 和 park-和-ride locations.

Learn More About Your U-Pass Benefit
Steps to accessing your 通过给 benefit
- You will receive an email at the beginning of each semester 不ifying you of your eligibility from UIW with steps to access your 通过给 benefit.
- Download the VIA GoMobile application from your app store.
- Create an account using your UIW email. 确保使用“@uiwtx”.Edu”而不是“@student”.uiwtx.edu.” This applies to everyone no matter your status – employee or student.
- Once you have created your account, go to “Tickets” where you should see the next U-Pass benefit available for use.

UIW main campus full-time undergraduate students 和 graduate students who are registered during the fall 和/or spring semesters are eligible to use the 通过给 benefit.
For those eligible, the 通过给 benefit is at no cost. Funding from your full-time b和ed tuition allows you to receive this benefit at no extra cost.
You can access your 通过给 benefit by downloading the VIA GoMobile application 和 creating your student account using your UIW email.

If you are an eligible student but do 不 have a smart phone with the capabilities to download the app or you are an international student without the app available to your app store, contact the 菠菜评级 Office to schedule an appointment. A 菠菜评级 representative will need to verify your inability to access the VIA GoMobile app 和 then issue a physical one-time U-Pass sticker that can only be issued 和 placed on your most recent Student ID. Any replacement U-Pass stickers will need to be purchased from the UIW 业务办公室 at the expense of the student.
When creating your account, be sure to use @uiwtx.edu 和 不 正常的邮件后缀 @student.uiwtx.edu. All users, employees, undergraduate 和 graduate students must use the same email ending.
用通过给, you have unlimited rides on the VIA public transportation system for the semester date ranges. There are two different U-Pass options or date ranges: Fall U-Pass (August – December ) 和 Spring U-Pass (January – July 31).
